Product Description
This file includes an introduction activity using technology (Educreations app) that familiarizes students with the concept of culture and cultural perspective. An additional JPG is included for this activity. Then, two graphic organizers for the short stories, "The Girl Who Can", by Ama Ata Aidoo, and "Checkouts" by Cynthia Rylant, are included to help students find examples of cultural perspective and point of view. Finally, two essay questions are included which ask students to analyze cultural perspective and point of view across BOTH short stories. This entire bundle would take 5-8 days to teach.
