Students either pick or are randomly assigned a Spanish speaking country. Throughout the school year they research aspects of this country that match up with the topics studied in class. The topics that I have listed coincide with the first four chapters of the Realidades 2 book, but this could easily be switched to any text. Students must also keep a vocabulary list, take notes on their classmates presentations, create a PowerPoint and use the information from the presentations to complete a grammar assignment. Everything EXCEPT the grammar assignment is included. Also included are the scoring rubrics.
