An easy to follow but in-depth culture project. Folder contains- rubric, project paper, and reflection paper. This is set up for colonial groups but can easily be changed to any group of people. Easy to differentiate by having higher achieving student do their own research and lower achieving student are given readings to find information.
Students are required to write out historical facts about a particular type of person (for example: slave, pilgrim, apprentice, etc) by filling out the project "body". They will then present their findings to the class while their peers grade them using the presentation rubric. Lastly, the students fill out a What I Learned reflection worksheet.
