An informative and fun reading and writing worksheet to develop language for describing a festival. Each festival description contains a cloze activity and a list of questions. The questions can be used as either a written comprehension or communicative activity.
The readings describe what is the festival, when it is celebrated and how it is celebrated. They can be used for individual study and/or group work. Each description could be handed out to learners according to their reading ability and then they could work with another learner/s to ask and answer questions about each other’s allocated festival.
There is also a vocabulary worksheet for learners to write useful vocabulary (adjectives, nouns, verbs, time words) which will help them in their writing. A writing exercise with writing tips is provided as a structural and language guide.
