A great activity for math centers and differentiation. You can give this fun math puzzle to high kindergarteners or first graders. This is a math puzzle activity where students put together a cupcake with the facts adding up to the number on the cupcake top. For example, the cupcake top has a 8 and the cupcake has a facts that equals eight. You can make this activity self checking by writing the answer on the back of each cupcake piece. Print on card stock, laminate for durability and put it out for kids to use. This comes with a cut and paste worksheet that can be used for additional practice or assessment. This activity also has some higher number addition which can be used to differentiate for your above grade level students.
