Satisfy your sweet tooth with these articulation activities! This packet includes:
99 thematic articulation cards addressing initial, medial, final sounds for: /vowel + R/ ; /r, r-blends/; /l/; /s,z/; /k,g/; /ch,sh,j/.
Each sound set has 18 cards except for the sh/j/ch set which has 9. Game board also included
Students take turns rolling the dice. Using their sound cards, perform each task associated with the number they roll. If students are working on multiple sounds they can roll more than one dice at a time, providing more opportunity to practice.
A) Using target sounds, create a list of three items for each of the four categories. B) Using the key, search for sounds within the word list to color red, pink, or purple. One page sorts /r/ by initial, medial, and final. The second page searches for /s,z/, /l/, /k,g/ sounds.
WORD & STORY WRITING TEMPLATES:
Each template has a word bank of 18 words to practice writing the thematic vocabulary (sh/ch/j template only has 10). Templates are separated by target sounds.
---Word level: Students can draw a picture describing how they celebrate Valentine’s Day as they practice speaking and writing.
---Story level: Students use the word bank to generate sentence or story level thoughts about Valentine’s Day.
Using thematic vocabulary, students match words to practice articulation sounds addressing initial, medial, final sounds.
Happy Valentine's Day!
