Pg. 10-11 Sequence of Events – Now it’s your turn to put the story in order – cut down the middle and glue the ends together – color the scenes of the story in order – tell the story to a friend
Pg. 12-15 My Past, Present, Future Verb Book – copy pages A and B back to back to form a book – write and illustrate your book – one for girls and one for boys
Pg. 16-19 Put the Dinosaur Bones into the Museum! – Cut out the letter bones and use them to form words – record your words onto the bone writing paper – fold the museum paper in half and glue the sides to form a pocket – cut out the bones with the words you created and put the bones into the museum
Pg. 20-23 I Found a Dinosaur Egg … CRACK! – a fun writing and craft project – What kind of dinosaur did you find in your egg? - copy the patterns onto the appropriate colored eggs – draw your dinosaur onto the white egg – cut the colored egg on the jagged lines down the middle – carefully glue the eggs on either side over the white egg – decorate your egg anyway you want – attach it to the top of a large piece of construction paper – add the writing to the bottom
Pg. 24-34 Digging for Bones – every player gets a wheelbarrow to put their bones in – place the bones and dirt cards face down on the dig area board – take turns picking a bone and reading the word on it – if you read the word correctly, put it in your wheelbarrow, if you pick a “Just dirt Card!” – put all your bones back into the dig area and start over – player with the most bones at the end of the game wins – laminate
