PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This activity includes an interactive approach and detailed directions to introduce The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time and expose students to autism. Students will be lead through sensory stations, analysis of the data, research autism, discuss and practice recognizing facial expressions, and synthesize all the information. Included are directions and worksheets for sensory stations, an anticipation guide about autism, an article to read and annotate, a facial expression quiz, and a follow-up homework assignment.

Our students love this activity and gain a deep understand about autism and the impact it has on social situations. It is the perfect way to introduce Christopher Boone to the class.
