Current Events: Poster Activity
It's time to find out what's happening in the world, whether it is at the local, state, national, or world level. Some parental guidance may be needed or a bit of monitoring when watching the news or looking at a local paper, but with a little assistance, students are sure to love getting all of the details about events that are current.
Please note BEFORE you buy the amount of writing space. The space if limited, so please make sure it works for you and your needs. If you have any questions, please send me a message. I will gladly help. Thank you.
This can be an at-home project or if you can gather enough current resources, make it an at-school project. You could possibly even bookmark some appropriate webpages for student use, such as current newspaper articles on the web.
I am marking this poster for grades 4-6, but please think about your students in order to make a decision. Please read the poster topics below.
This is an 8.5x11 current event poster activity, landscape style.
It includes the following information:

This poster makes for a great bulletin board display or hallway display. Plus, your students will have fun sharing about their events. Have them get in small groups to share or give them an opportunity to speak in front of the class.
