This worksheet can be used to guide discussions of Current Events. After answer basic questions about a selected article (who, what, where, when), students will reflect on why the article is important to them. Then, students will connect something about their selected article to something discussed in class.
Students will have a few lines at the top of the sheet to record their source for the article. Suggested sources, such as the NY Times, CNN, and other national new sites are referenced in the worksheet directions.
