About this Resource
Teacher suggestions are offered for implementation and for the preparation of student packets.  Have students examine the current events using the provided SPRITE Organizer. Orally summarize as a whole class upon return for added benefit. Create a Classroom Timeline or even a review wall to reward great student work.

Ideal as student work over extended school closings (Coronavirus, Flu, Teacher Strikes, etc.), for snow or NTI days, or for individual student absences.

An answer key is not applicable since there are so many ways to use this activity. All student materials are provided except for the current events. Teachers may suggest current events resources that best fit their classroom and students.
