This is a big ol' file containing all my handwriting sheets relating to the handwriting families. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that cursive handwriting is the most effective way of writing fluently in children. It is also the most effective way to help children with dyslexia write as well.
The order of teaching is:
2 o'clock letters
Children should learn the formation of the letter first before moving on to joining them.
In addition to receiving practice sheets for all 26 letters, you will also receive practice word sheets to consolidate learning.
These can be used for children in Year 1 (Kindergarten) and follows the National Curriculum (Letter Families). Alternatively these sheets can be used by way of intervention to give added support to children of all ages.
If you need me to change any of the letters to suit your class needs then please do not hesitate to contact me.
