This resource is for cursive handwriting practise. You can use this resource for children beginning to use cursive handwriting or also for intervention programmes. I have followed the UK curriculum of Letter Families but I can adapt this resource for your needs.
I have been a Year 1 (US - Kindergarten) teacher for 4 years and am now a Year 2 teacher and use this resource every day for handwriting practice. The train tracks make it really clear for children to see where they should be aiming to keep their letters which helps with fine motor skills and then will help with letter formation accuracy.
You will receive 5 ready-to-use work sheets for straight letters:
i, l , t and u
There is also a sheet to practise joining the letters in words which only use the letters just learned and practised.
At the start of very sheet is a short warm-up to encourage writing in the red "train tracks".
Follow me to receive updates as I am currently making resources for the rest of the handwriting families:
2 o' clock
Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require any custom-made orders.
Thanks for stopping by!
