When students enter my classroom, they typically have been taught all uppercase and lowercase cursive letters, but they need more practice to be able to write in cursive fluently.
There are some capital letters that students have more trouble writing than other letters. These practice pages help students practice common cursive mistakes I see with my students.
1) Worksheet style pages for 9 capital letters. Students write the letter by itself then practice using the capital letter in proper nouns (mostly names of people and places).
capital G (D'Nealian G)
capital I (as in India)
capital Q (the one that looks like a print Q, NOT a 2)
2) Abbreviation practice page (Sr., Jr., Mrs., Mr., etc.)
3) Individual capital letter practice page-- write each of the 9 capital letters included in the product 10x each
The products also includes a word find game page. Students create as many proper noun words as possible using the 9 letters (and a few additional letters).
