Still teaching cursive handwriting at your school? Me too. Use these cursive pages when students need additional practice connecting the tricky lowercase cursive letters.
The hardest connections are the cursive letters that end “high” (the letters that do not end on the base line) like letter b or o and then move into a letter that needs to start at the mid-point. Students also struggle with letters m and n and the “hump” dilemma. These pages review common cursive mistakes I find in my classroom with lowercase letters.

The packet also has a second set of practice pages that are duplicates of the first set, but the letter pairs are in plain print. Students must create the cursive letters without a model to copy. These pages work well as a cursive assessment.
