A set of fifty-six (56) task cards that covers Customary Measurement for WEIGHT. It contains problems with varying levels of difficulty which will provide excellent practice to students at all skill levels. You may use these task cards for individual or pair activities, group activities, math centers or stations, games, and even in whole class discussion.

For this activity, students will:

► Choose the most appropriate unit of weight
► Answer True or False questions
► Convert a measure of weight from one unit to another, i.e. 2 tons = ___ pounds
► Compare two measures of weight with different units
► Select the shape that contains a measure that has the least or greatest weight
► Order measurements from the lightest to heaviest or vice versa
► Select the choice that has the same weight of the given measure (multiple choice)
► Select the choice that has the best estimate of the given measure (multiple choice)
► Add or subtract measures of weight with mixed units
► Solve word problems involving customary measurement for weight
