This is a math flip book graphic organizer that I use with my students when teaching the different customary and metric units of length. It will print out on 2 sheets. You will need to print it out two sided or either use a copy machine to make it 2 sided. Then, fold the page in half where the words inch, foot, etc. are on the outside. There are also lines to help guide the children where to cut to create flaps. On the inside there are lines that help guide students where to begin and end their writing. On the inside of the graphic organizer I have my students write the conversions for each unit (ex. 12 in = 1 ft.). Also, I have them write objects they are familiar with that are about the same length as each one (ex. - baseball bat is about the same as 1 yd.). There are pictures included which show how the completed graphic organizer should look.
