This resource is designed for teachers who wish to tutor during the summer or after school. Having a tutoring agreement saves confusion and misunderstandings by making your arrangements and expectations clear to the student's parents or guardians. A tutoring contract with well-defined policies also sets a tone of professionalism.
These agreements are intended for private—not in-school—tutoring. For that type of arrangement, talk to your school or district administrator.
There are 4 customizable contracts in this set, with
• formal language, charging a flat rate;
• formal language, on a sliding scale;
• informal language, charging a flat rate;
• and informal language, on a sliding sale.
The contracts contain editable text boxes so you can type in adaptations to suit you.
