I love the idea of Cut, Stack, Staple books, so it was just natural for me to make this to align with our reading series. This fun way of reading helps students learn their sight words and encourages them to use pictures to figure out unknown words. All you do is copy the page you want to use, have students color the pictures, trace the sight word, then cut out the little boxes at the bottom. Then, they stack them on top of the picture box within the sentence and you staple it. All of a sudden, your students have a tiny book with four repetitive sentences when they lift the flaps!
This pack contains at least one page for each week of the Kindergarten Reading Street series for units 1-5. I did not include Unit 6 because it is completely review. I plan to individualize this packet for each student when we get to Unit 6 and have them re-complete the pages that include the sight words they still struggle with.
This product aligns with the 2013 version of Kindergarten Reading Street.
