"A dot does a lot" is a mantra I've used in early childhood for many years. This sheet introduces the concept of the right amount of glue to use for a project, while providing opportunities for cutting on straight lines. It's a great, easy back to school project that saves TONS of headaches later in the year! Also great for fine motor assessment in the beginning of the year!
Have children cut the pictures of animals on page 2. Then, while saying "a dot does a lot" have them open their glue, drop a dot on the dot space on page 1, and glue each animal in a box.
