This easy to complete and grade cut and paste activity will help students practice using analogies without having to use a boring pencil! Students will simply cut out the words and glue them into the correct box. The analogies are part to whole, person to occupation, object to use, and more.
My students enjoyed this activity, even the lower level students, because they were able to figure out the tougher analogies by process of examination. They were able to complete the activity with little to no help from me.
This activity can also be enhanced for higher level students by having them create a third analogy or writing sentences with the analogy's relationship.
