This is an anchor chart set perfect for teaching the main concepts of innovation and why inventors invent. The chart outlines characteristics of inventors, and teaches the cycle of innovation, from problem, to solution, to other inventions created as a result. (Benchmark Advance teachers: this works great alongside unit 5!)
Template 1: Full color
Template 2: Black and white
Template 3: Faint gray (for those who prefer to create the chart as they are teaching. Simply trace over the gray with markers!)
- Directions for how to print enlarged charts using the "tile" option on Acrobat
- Student copy of the anchor chart with fill-in-the-blanks, so students can fill theirs out while you're teaching (great for note-taking!)
