Another installment of an open-ended game that exposes your students to content vocabulary and cycles! Yes, you can use it to review or even introduce the different cycles discussed in Science, or you can just use it for fun when practicing any skill. I noticed that many school districts have cut back on content instruction time in order to add reading, writing and math instruction time at the elementary level. I thought this might be a fun way for my Speech Therapy kids to get some content exposure while practicing their Speech and Language skills. Each stage in a cycle has a corresponding card that briefly explains the stage and highlights a key vocabulary word from that stage. This game is great for expressive language skills, but you can also use it to target classifying, associations, describing, articulation, reading, predicting, inferencing, sequencing, turn taking…the list is pretty endless. Give it a whirl with your kids and let me know what you think.
This download includes:

- Frogs life cycle
