The following two-page worksheet reviews some of the major literary elements of Edmond Rostand's play "Cyrano de Bergerac." It can be used by itself to review a work and can also be used to prepare students for a test on the work. The worksheet doesn't simply assess students' understanding of the plot; it also requires them to review drama terms employed (e.g. find an example of a monologue, soliloquy, etc.), major and minor characterization, static vs. dynamic characterization, characters who are foils, conflict, setting, symbolism, and themes.
