This DIBELS Next Benchmark chart is used in my first grade classroom. The chart includes benchmark 1, 2, and 3. The chart is in Microsoft Excel 97-2003 format and is automatically color coded when you type in your students score. Students scoring at or above benchmark are colored green, students scoring below benchmark are colored yellow, and students scoring well below benchmark are colored red. This will allow you to quickly scan your chart and see who is on what level without comparing numbers in your DIBELS manual. The chart also tally's each section (PSF, CLS, WWR, DORF) at the bottom to let you know how many students are on level or below level in your classroom. This will allow you to determine quickly what area you need to address the most to increase your students reading ability.
This DIBELS Next chart is an excellent tool for you classroom. It makes our job a little easier when comparing our students scores. It also makes it easy for your principal and counselor to read at the end of the year.
Good luck and I hope you enjoy this DIBELS chart!
