    Narrated Teaching Presentations

    Each digital unit in this series includes an in-depth, audio narrated teaching presentation on Google Slides. These engaging lessons are ideal for remote teaching, online learning, and in the classroom for students to work independently. The narrated audio slides make it easy to differentiate for all student abilities. Each uses real photos to present second grade science content in a fun, vibrant, and engaging format.

    Interactive Journal Activities

    Each lesson is followed by interactive journal activities on Google Slides. Each journal activity slide combines moveable, drag and drop parts and typed short answer formats.

    Digital Science Centers

    Digital science centers are included that focus on cause and effect relationships, patterns in nature, stability and change, structure and function, content vocabulary, organizing data form pictures, categorizing, and math & science word problems. All centers are interactive with moveable pieces.

    Digital Assessments

    Assessments for each lesson, followed by a unit test are included in each unit on in two formats. Easily differentiate for your students using multiple choice, short typed response, or fill in the blank format.

    Develop a simple model that mimics the function of an animal in dispersing seeds or pollinating plants.
    Develop a model to represent the shapes and kinds of land and bodies of water in an area. Assessment does not include quantitative scaling in models.
    Compare multiple solutions designed to slow or prevent wind or water from changing the shape of the land. Examples of solutions could include different designs of dikes and windbreaks to hold back wind and water, and different designs for using shrubs, grass, and trees to hold back the land.
