Students will complete this activity using the task cards provided and Google Forms as part of the digital experience. This digital escape room will review the math skill: Naming Coins, Value, Basic Money, and Counting Coins. This fun and engaging digital escape room (aka digital breakout) is VERY LOW PREP requiring only a few sheets of paper for each group. Just group your students into teams of 2 or 3, give them the task cards, white boards and markers, and assign the Escape Room in Google Classroom or share the Google Form with them.
NOTE: Some school districts block Google Sites for students. Please make sure your students have access to Google Sites and the websites before purchasing!

What is this digital escape room like?
This digital breakout, escape, or race includes 10 questions. Once in groups, the students will begin with Puzzle Card #1. They will answer the question and use resources needed (which are listed on the question) to solve. After solving the question, students will go to the Google Form. They will enter their answer. If correct, Google Form will tell them which puzzle to answer next. If incorrect, it will tell them to try again. On each puzzle is a cute Meme appropriate for second and third graders. *NOTE* On the Google Form for each Puzzle is a hint. Remind your students to use the hints provided in helping them solve the questions. The team that answers all ten questions correctly wins the race. This Escape Room/Race activity is fun and engaging for students. They will LOVE them!
