What educators are saying

Highly recommend! I loved it and so did the kids! It was great to divide up for bell ringers. They were so excited to do it each day in their groups!
We have done the capitalization one so far. I spread each task over a different day. It worked well to make teaching capitalization rules.

    Description

This bundle of digital grammar escape room is a new and fun way to challenge your students and improve their understanding of punctuation, capitalization rules, sentence types, and parts of speech. There are four paperless escape rooms included that cover the following:

    • Sentence Types (simple, compound, complex, compound-complex)
    • Punctuation (commas, semi-colons, colons, apostrophes)
    • Capitalization Rules
    • The 8 Parts of Speech (noun, pronoun, adjective, adverb, verb, preposition, conjunction, and interjection).

These are Google-compatible resources and students complete all the work on the computer. This works well with distance learning, 1:1 classrooms, remote teaching, Google Classroom, Google Drive or for online education.

For each of the the bundles, students are given the back story where they find themselves in a situation they need to escape. They will escape a dungeon, an alien planet, a military bunker, and a scientist's study.

These can be used as stand-alone digital escape rooms where students complete all the tasks in one sitting, or you can use them as bell-ringers where each day they progressively get closer and closer to escaping by the end of the week.

This escape rooms have students move through a variety of floors, rooms, chambers, and cells while demonstrating their knowledge of grammar rules.

Each of the digital puzzles bring students into a new area where they uncover more clues and attempt to succeed in each task to have a successful escape.
