Suggested use:

Have students document information in their flipbook on the Australian animal under study. Print out the templates and compile the flipbook. This could also serve as their draft where they could use the self-editing and peer-editing checklists to edit. Finally have students publish on writing sheets or type out content from draft observing corrections. The sections pertaining to habitat, diet, life-cycle, and behaviour/behavior can make-up the Body of the Report and 1-2 interesting facts to conclude the Information Report.

** Please note, I've included the kiwi as an interesting subject to be studied as they are also related to emus and cassowaries of Australia, and the extinct moa of New Zealand. If you would not like your students to undertake the study of the kiwi, please omit this section - it's only a page.
