Seven rawr-some dinosaur math stations to help your Kindergarten students reinforce their skills in counting, cardinality and basic operations. With opportunities for differentiation, each center comes with full instructions and a handy storage label!
1.) T-Rex Ten Frame Stomp! : Compare quantities within 10 and record the greatest number on a ten frame.
2.) Matching Dino Eggs : Count given amounts within 10 and match to written numerals.
3.) Steggie Subitising : Count the amounts and match to written numerals, with the option to record 1 more or 1 less within 10.
4.) Dino Dough Mats : Make the various amounts as plates for a stegosaurus. With the option to use digit cards, subitising cards or ten array cards.
5.) Diplodocus Dice: Rolling two dice, count on to a given amount to find a larger quantity. (This center includes numbers 11 and 12.)
6.) Triceratops and Tails: Demonstrate fluency in adding and taking away within 5.
7.) Ankylosaurus Missing Numbers: Identify and record the missing numbers before, between and after. (This center includes number 11.)
