Product Description

Our Divergent Google Earth a high-engagement way to give an Introduction Tour of the geography of the story's world. The first time I busted out Google Earth on the projector to introduce a unit, students were riveted. And they still are...every time.

* NOTE: If you've already purchased our other version of this for non-digital classrooms, you've likely already figured out how to use this in your 1:1 classroom, so there is no need to get this. If you don't have either version yet and you're working with digital 1:1 learners, then get this version. It has instructions that are more useful for your journey of getting started.

♥ A great resource; it can take some time to get set up, depending on your experience with Google Earth. The video tutorials are really helpful, and the provided instructions and explanations are thorough which make the set up process relatively stress-free!

♥ This helped so much in giving the students perspective of location and allowed them to further visualize what was happening as the story progressed. Thank you for creating this!

♥ A nice idea. The kids really loved "walking" around.

♥ Very, very cool! This was very different from anything I have done, and my kids loved it!

♥ Exceptional! Many of my students have never been out of the county, much less out of Georgia. They loved being able to visualize the places being discussed in the book. Imagining Tris and Four on the ferris wheel was one thing, but seeing how big the ferris wheel actually was gave them a new appreciation for Four's fear of heights...lol. Then to see how far it was from the pier...priceless! Thank you so much!!!

♥ This was great as a virtual field trip and really helped my students understand where things were taking place in the book. Plus it was fun!!
