The colloborative assignment is designed to be used as a culmination or review assignment.The assignment requires students to form groups and create a radio assignment based a particular literary period or literary selection. Each student has a role in the radio show and delivers the new, weather, or other component of the show. The activity and its presentation effectively allow students to review material and make connections to modern-day occurrences. For instance, if the students had finished reading Romeo and Juliet, then each group would have an act to summarize. Group I may use the act's details as the entertainment report or the news with a relevant commercial and music suited to the mood of that act.
