Description

This activity asks students to brainstorm and come up with a "model" or explanation for how something works. I ask students to imagine that they just had an intense workout, and now are in process of growing their muscles. The question that I pose to them is, "How does your body make more of the cells it needs?"

This lesson includes a lesson plan which links to a google slideshow presentation, a guided notes page, all the cut-out templates that you will need for the DNA Replication activity, plus a BONUS build a DNA model instructions sheet and rubric.
