What incentive can you use when students are able to correctly write in D'Nealian Cursive? Well, a driver's license is a great incentive.
I use each student's picture from Infinite Campus which contains data for each student, as well as their photos. You could even use a photo of each child that you created using your camera.
I used the school's address instead of each student's address when completing the learner's permits.
You can create each student's driver's license then upload to a site, such as Office Depot to print. I usually have these licenses printed on white cardstock then I laminate them myself. The cost is usually $5 or less. You pay online then pick the printed licenses within a day or two. Easy peasy!!!
I display the licenses on our classroom door for everyone to enjoy. At the end of the year, students get to take their cursive driver's license home.
