I have created powerpoints to help my students master sight words. This powerpoint has 54 slides; no blanks between the slides. It is created to be "clicked through", but if you have a mastery over powerpoint, you can add blank slides and put it on a timed showing.
The joy is that you can create a successful experience with these sight words, and then challenge improvement by using the Primer Powerpoint 102 that has all the words WITH blank slides between every two words, to create a "pause" that can be lengthened or shortened. The time factor enables the teacher (or parent) to measure progress and rejoice in the improved mastery of these sight words.
