Make sight word practice fun with this “sweet” take on traditional bingo called, “DONUT!” There are four different sets of bingo cards that focus on the same 19 words. Each word set includes 5 mixed mats for students to battle out DONUT. You can have your students try to get four in a row or black out the entire card to make it more of a challenge.
In all, there are 20 bingo mats, 72 word cards, blank options, and mini donut markers for the bingo cards. Suggested use: print on cardstock and laminate for long lasting use
My personal use: I plan on using one set of mat at a time, half the deck of 72 cards, and pairing my mats with the donut erasers from the Target $1 spot for markers. Students will take turns drawing a card from a bucket, saying the word aloud, finding the word, and covering it! I like to play the first to get four in a row and follow up with blackout! Once the words have been mastered, I’ll switch out the mats to the second set and so forth.
