The book is written for all who never liked mathematics. It is based on more than 40 years of research with individual students. It is guaranteed that students-- teachers and others--will improve their ability in mathematics after reading or/and working through the text. To maintain the original form of research by the author, which consisted in handwriting personalized books for several hundred students, the main part of the book is a mathematical--hopefully calligraphic--essay with many freehand drawings, which presents an integrated approach to mental arithmetic, arithmetic ,fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, computation, various remarks on psychological, historical, and educational topics, algebra,,logarithms, trigonometry, and beginning calculus. The central essay is accompanied by letters or recommendation, a long introduction explaining the approach, and 15 pages of guided reading questions.
