Product Description
How do we teach high school and college students to analyze the complexities of community problems and global issues before forming conclusions? How do we help students understand that most issues involve more than two sides?
This activity uses the DRIVE acronym to help students unpack the steps of analysis, then walks students through the process of summarizing, analyzing, and evaluating three sources that present different viewpoints on the opioid crisis.
The resource can be used as a handout or a digital assignment and includes links to the TED Talk and newspaper article students will summarize, analyze, and evaluate.
