NO PREP activity that my students really enjoy. Students interview each other in pairs about their families. Suggested questions/topics are at the bottom of the worksheet and include vocabulary from this unit. They fill in the grid, writing things that only pertain to them in the "Ma famille" box and things that only pertain to their partner in the "La famille de mon partenaire" box. Things that they find in common are written in the "Nos deux familles" category.
I find that I need to remind students that they'll need to use different subjects and therefore different verb forms in each of the 3 boxes. This is a great activity to get students speaking and interacting with each other.
After students have worked in pairs, I have each pair report back to the class the things that they found out that they have in common.
This product now contains 2 versions of this activity. One is intended for use with the 2015 or earlier editions of the book (includes some food vocabulary). The other version is intended for use with the 2019 edition of the book (questions related to food have been replaced with questions related to family). Each is clearly marked.
