We all love using the Daily 3/5 because it helps each teacher have the ability to work more flexibly and with much more intentionality. With one teacher in the room, this makes so much sense. In our school, we are deliberate about utilizing our special education teachers by pushing in to the regular education classroom. This is wonderful! However, we were kind of confused on how to plan for each other within the Daily 3/5 structure.
These are forms that we are using to help guide our instruction so that we all are on the same page. We are all going to keep up with our own pensieves, as well. These allow us to know what's happening throughout the classroom.
In this folder, you will see two different co-teaching models that we use: "Chunking" and "Station Teaching". There are directions to complete each planning document based on how we use it and how we interpret the Daily 3 and Daily 5.
