Implementing the Daily 5 takes time and repeated practice tor the first few weeks.
There are two different reflection activities for both work-on-writing and read-to-self.
The reflections help monitor progress and hold students accountable while practicing the Daily 5.
Using these reflections really helped my students understand that they would be held accountable for quality work-on-writing time and read-to-self time.
Included are color and black-line masters as well as a condensed version to reduce paper usage.
