This is a tool for teachers to use with students with difficulties related to eloping, aggression, and noncompliance. Oftentimes, the first step is ensuring the student builds an better awareness of the replacement behaviors, such that he/she can recite the expectations when asked and can compare his review to his teacher's evaluation of the behaviors. The closer the student's score is to the teacher's report of the replacement behavior, the more aware and accurate the student is to self report. From this step, the student can take more responsibility for self-monitoring. Corresponding visuals (preferably a photograph of the student engaged in each behavior) should be used for younger children or those with limited intellectual ability.
