This is a daily sent-home note for self-contained special education classroom. Center for Literacy and Disability Studies suggests that emergent writers should practice writing their names daily.

My daily sent-home note provides spaces for students with moderate to significant disabilities to practice writing their name daily, which is a very important emergent literacy writing skills.

There are 2 versions: the major difference is the first page has colored line for name writing and colored symbols for feelings which are consistent with the 3 out of 4 colors from the Zones of Regulations, the other page is a less colored version for teachers who only have access to black and white printing.
