This factoring review covers all special cases (difference of perfect squares, difference and sum of perfect cubes, perfect square trinomials) as well as regular trinomial factoring and factor by grouping four-term polynomials. Hidden examples of factoring a GCF first as well in each section to ensure the students are always looking for that first. I use this over four days in the first 30 minutes of class (we teach 90 minute blocks) as a way to teach factoring for the first time, with the fourth day being a mixed review of all of the different kinds of factoring. The pages can be manipulated to be taught in one day or sent home as a daily review if students are already familiar with factoring and just need more practice. In class I let the students work together after going over the first two examples per section so they can teach/correct each other and solidify their knowledge.
