I have been using Daily Grammar Practice since October of 2012 and I have seen tremendous growth in my students Language Arts skills and scores on standardized assessments.
This product is 16 weeks worth of Daily Grammar Practice sentences and parts of speech review. Each week students will be introduced to a new sentence that is written incorrectly. They write the sentence in their ELA journal and then we follow the schedule below, which takes about 5 minutes each day of our Language Arts/Writing time.
Monday: Correct the sentence
Tuesday: Label the parts of speech
Wednesday: Label the subject and predicate; decide if it's a simple/compund subject or simple/compound predicate
Thursday: Discuss the type of sentence (declarative, interrogative, exclamatory, imperative)
This product is the 16 weeks of assessments, but the weekly sentence is included at the top of each sheet.
This is a great review of all parts of speech, as well.
Nouns, verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, prepositions, interjections and conjunctions.
