Morning work can be a struggle in my classroom. First off figuring what should I give them? Then I think should I grade it or go over it? But if I decide to go over it when will I squeeze that into my already full day? At least this is my daily morning work struggle. I needed something that was consistent but yet meaningful. But also quick enough that I could review it right at the beginning of our day, so I created the Daily Journal and Spiral Math Review for Second Grade.
This product includes a journal prompt and writing space for everyday of the school year.
Journal topics include:

This product also includes a daily math review. Everyday has a time and money problem (because this is the number one thing my 2nd graders struggle with in math). Then the rest of the math questions spiral through the 2nd Grade Common Core Math Standards. All 2nd grade math skills are reviewed in this product.
The Daily Journal and Spiral math review is laid out by day and covers all 180 days of the school year. All you have to do is print one for each student, staple or bind together and you are ready to go!
