PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

During counseling session, if a student is complaining about not feeling well during various parts of the day and/or is experiencing anxiety, depression, forgetfulness, hunger…besides referring to appropriate agencies, I suggest asking the student to keep a log of daily events. Then schedule a follow-up meeting to assess findings.

The notes are a good method to see if the student is healthfully eating and may need counseling about appropriate foods to eat or is in need of time management training to better use time. The notes permit for a quick assessment and then guidance to be offered and referrals to be made to appropriate personnel to obtain the individualized assistance the student needs to succeed and lead a happy and healthful life.
