In addition to being aligned with both sets of TEKS, my problems are written to help expose students to the context and vocabulary found in the STAAR test. I have studied the structure, stems, and terminology used in the tests and apply that knowledge in each problem.
Finally, my problems are designed to stimulate metacognition and critical thinking in each student by providing a framework for problem solving using multiple methods. especially if your students already practice bar modeling or Singapore
I will be releasing 7 packets of daily math problems, organized by concept. Each will last approximately 6 weeks.
