Daily Mind Set

Daily Mind Set
Product Description
Weekly form for students to write their bell work/mind set. This is in Word format so you can make changes to it. It is an easy, organized way for students to complete the bell work/mind set at the beginning of class to review information from the previous day or to trigger prior knowledge for the day's lesson. Students use one page per week - students have a specific place to write their bell work/mind set and keeps them accountable. You can check it/stamp while they are doing it, collect it at the end of the week. Any subject can use it by editing it to fit your purposes and using the first page only (change the clipart, too). For languages: On the back students write two sentences per day - even French I in the first month of school can write sentences. Give them a list of adjectives and they can describe their family and friends using il est and elle est. Provides a formative assessment for you to see what difficulties they are having and review as a class or individually (j'ai 14 ans or je suis 14 ans?). Ou est M. Fifi - this is a great way for students to use prepositions all year long. Get a class mascot - mine is a French-looking teddy bear. Put him in a different location in the classroom every day (on the computer, under a chair, etc.) Post a list of prepositions (sur, sous, dans, pres, etc.) Students will write where M. Fifi is everyday. They enjoy looking for him and asking Ou est M. Fifi? Also - Sonnerie is 'ring tone' in French and that's what I call their bell work. Can be used by other languages by translating it. Robin Noudali
