The Daily Reading Strategy Journal is for intermediate grade teachers who want to improve students' comprehension by making them aware of the reading strategies they are using. There is one page for each reading strategy, including predicting, making connections, asking questions, visualizing, inferring, and monitoring/clarifying. There are places to record the title of the book for each day. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday have sentence starters for strategies and Tuesday and Thursday are left blank so that students can start to write about strategies on their own. Includes a grading rubric. Builds on my Structured Reading Response Journal.
